How OLMVO handles information
We want to be clear about what information we collect and how we handle it.
Public website inquiries
When you submit the contact form on this website, we collect your name, email, optional organization, and message. We use this information to respond to your inquiry. We do not share contact form submissions with third parties.
Community survey data
The Community Needs & Usability Survey is hosted through Microsoft Forms. Survey data is stored and managed through that service according to its own privacy practices. OLMVO does not control how Microsoft handles survey data. Please review Microsoft's privacy practices before participating.
Protected OLMVO member-platform data
The protected OLMVO application — where members, community partners, and administrators interact — stores member data separately from this public website. Access to member data requires authentication and is restricted to authorized users. The public website does not have access to member data.
What we do not claim
- •We do not claim HIPAA compliance. OLMVO is not a covered entity under HIPAA, and this website does not collect protected health information.
- •We do not claim FERPA compliance merely because the founder is a student. OLMVO is an independent initiative, not a university-sponsored program.
- •We do not claim research protections that have not been formally established. The Community Advisory Board is a feedback mechanism, not a research study, unless separately approved.
