Access is part of the product.
Disability-first means access is considered from the beginning—not added as a checkbox at the end. OLMVO also avoids pretending one accessibility label works for everyone.
Using the website
Adjust OLMVO before you sign in.
Use the Access control in the navigation to change public-site display preferences. These tools are meant to support use of the product; they are not a substitute for ongoing accessibility testing or human feedback.
Make it easier to read
Adjust text size, spacing and visual density.
Make it easier to see
Use stronger contrast, larger controls and clearer focus.
Use it your way
Keyboard, screen-reader and reduced-motion support are part of the product direction and testing.
No universal “accessible” score.
Access is personal. A place can work well for one person and not for another. OLMVO's direction is to show useful dimensions and evidence—entrance, seating, restroom, sensory environment, wayfinding, transportation context and other practical details—rather than hiding all of that behind one number.
How OLMVO handles access information
Keep the source visible.
OLMVO's data model separates different kinds of evidence. That matters because an official venue statement, an OLMVO review and one Member's experience are not the same thing.
Official-source facts
Information from a venue or provider's official source, with a date when OLMVO last checked it.
Business-provided facts
Details submitted by an authorized location representative and kept distinct from OLMVO's own review.
OLMVO operational review
When OLMVO has actually reviewed a place, that review is labeled separately rather than blended into other sources.
Member-reported experience
What a Member experienced can add useful context, but it does not become a universal accessibility certification.
